So whats the best frozen pizza?

While I am not a pizza snob (I do like Dominos, Pappa Johns etc. as well as proper "stone baked"), I will not eat a Pizza Hut pizza. they are greasy, slimy and not pleasant.

I totally agree. Out of the 3 main Pizza places in the UK I think Dominos wins hands down when compared to Pizza Hut. Also the prices at Pizza Hut are astronomical.

Oetker's Casa di Mama range are certainly better than Chicago Town. Used to have them all the time when I lived in Canada. I've been able to find them a couple of times here in Waitrose as well, but only in massive Waitrose stores. Unfortunately my local one is too small and doesn't stock it :(

My local tesco has the Pepperoni and the nearest Sainsbury's has the Pepperoni and also the Quattro Formaggi. I really do like the Pepperoni!! I'd really like to try out the bacon variety.

i hardly think dominoes are cheap. they are far more expensive than pizza hut. PH are horrid now though and extremely salty i find.

best frozen are chicago town takeway stuff crust by far.

Oetker are very good, as are the Chi Town takeaway ones with the stuffed crust.

Does anyone else do what I do and get frozen pizza and then top it off with extra toppings like oregano, more ONION, mushrooms bits of tomato etc? fire some sauce of there?

I always put additional toppings on. I like panceta cubes to. Most of the time I make homemade pizza as its better and easy.

Got to agree Dr Oetker Ristorante are my favourite, the take out Pizza Express ones are also awesome (when on offer, too expensive for a student normally)

I quite like the little microwave Chicago Town pizzas. One isn't enuogh though, it's two with chips. :D

That said I'm eating a lot better than I use to now so it's only on Sundays where I'll maybe eat stuff like that.

Microwave pizzas?!! Aren't they a bit soggy?

I remember seeing microwaveable jacket potatoes with cheese in the freezer section at the supermarket once so I shouldn't be surprised!! :D
