So whats the best frozen pizza?

The Iceland Stonebaked ones for £1.50 are really bloody good, infact, for the price are amazing.

I've persuaded myself to actually get a pizza from Sainsburys once from the chilled section for £4+ but I can't remember the name. Incredible stuff.

I much prefer the Dr. Oetker Casa Di Mama pizzas to the Ristorante. The only one our local Tesco stocks is the Pepperoni and so far it's probably the best frozen pizza I've ever had.

Haven't seen the Casa di Mama or Panabello ranges for sale around here. But usually I prefer a thin base & crust, so they probably wouldn't apeal more than the ristorante range. Would like to give them a go though.

Definitely do give it a go when you get the chance. I normally prefer thin bases but these aren't too thick and the crust is very tasty. The pepperoni Casa Di Mama has nice peppers on it which are a little sweet and a little spicy. If I remember correctly they are normally around £2 each.

Pizza express, unfortunately even then they're pretty naff compared to the real thing.

Prefer to make them, pizzas are so easy to make, make the dough when you get in from work, let it proof, stretch it into bases and add toppings.
10x better and cheap as anything.

Dr Oetker Ristorante.

This. Or as someone else mentioned the Iceland stone baked ones for £1.50 are surprisingly good.

I think there's two camps here though; if you like Italian style thin pizzas then the above is probably going to be to your taste, if you prefer more american style super cheesy deep pan type pizzas then probably not.

The Sainsburys Taste The Difference fresh pizzas are yummo, though frozen is Chicago Town Takeaway Cheese, just wish the stuffed crust was more cheese rather than the sauce,

Dr Oetker's are the bombdiggity.

The best selling ready made pizza in Italy, made in Lancashire by a German company. You've got to love that.

So whats the best frozen pizza?

Sorry but You want best pizza - go to Napoli or.... reluctantly make your own!

Buying frozen pizza and calling it best is like buying a tent and calling it fortress!

Unless you prefer western pizzas, given how food is subjective.

Tried various pizzas in Rome, and I honestly don't like the Italian style, prefer the western, Italian-American style.
