Is that one of the slingshot type backpacks? If so I have one of those and it's great.
No Christmas camera goodies for me.
I've got a list of what I want but they'll have to wait a few weeks. Top of the list is a 24-70 f/2.8 but I'm not looking forward to the dent that's going to make in the funds.
I did a few portrait and Christmas shoots recently which I really enjoyed so I might pick up a softbox, reflector and a stand or two next week.

it is yes, been wanting one for a while and amazon knocked them down from nearly a tonne down to around 60 quid, means i can cart all my camera round on my various bike rides in comfort and somewhat style now, instead of lugging my horrible little Camlink satchel type thing

I suggest you don't use the cloth part of the lens pen too many times. It will trap dirt and you will end up pushing it across the lens over and over again.
Micro fibre cloths are much better, and you can wash it too.

Black rapid RS-7, I now understand why they get so raved about
Canon 70-200mm 2.8L IS II
Though I will probably be returning it for something else if Jacobs will take it back! I already have the 4.0 IS which is much lighter. I can't see myself taking this new one out much or getting enough use from it as I don't do any sports photography.

I got an RS4. Looked at the RS7 but didn't like the idea of a great big clip on the back that people can just undo without me seeing....
I gaffer taped mine up, I figured it would buy me enough time to give them a face full of 5D.
