I couldnt buy a game based on looks alone, I mean Fear looked good when it came out but gameplay was far from good. I am still going to base if I buy it or not on the single player demo.

Pre-ordered it yesterday along with Unreal tournament 3 and Call Of Duty 4, november is going to be a very busy month for pc gaming and I still have the Orange Box to clock before then. I am quite relieved there isn't anything I want on the consoles atm as I would have to buy games for them aswel.

Yeah until they strike again and it takes me two weeks to get anything. I still don't have my PGR4 pre-order.

Not much point in preordering it imo, i think most will wait to see what performance is like in the sp demo first..assuming its not delayed again 5 seconds before release. :rolleyes:

well, i can run the mp Beta acceptably, so i've no doubt the game will run either the same or better. and its almost certain to be better!

If you pre-order from the EA Store, you get the single player demo 24 hours before anyone else and you get to pre-load Crysis a few days before release.

The demo will probably be leaked at that time anyway

Mp beta has no physics objects though. Im gonna assuming tossing a grenade and watching enemies go flying and tree limbs collapsing is gonna hit the framerate. Also the mp beta is pretty light on foliage compared to some of the vids that have been shown. dx10 as well will obviously hit the framerate.
