So who's working Christmas Eve (especially retail workers)?

No doubt some customers'll buy trolleys full of shopping ((as far as I'm concerned, anything they don't want or don't have enough for, they can put back themselves and not be allowed to leave the shop until they have done and I don't care if they've booked a taxi, have to be somewhere or they';re meeting somebody) then comeback on boxing day for more with the exscuse of 'I've got people coming round' (yeah, sure you have! That's just an exscuse).
If there are any tasty reductions on offer, please save some for everybody else.

Fortunately I work in online retail (boardgames) so we are closed at weekends.
Hardly anyone is ordering today as its too close to Christmas to guarantee delivery.

We've spent the last 2 days playing demo copies of games which has been great

But to answer the OP, for the first time since 2014, I'm off Xmas and NY, finished yesterday, back on the 7th.

After shopping this morning, I really feel sorry for retail workers. People seem to be rushing around in a ruthless fashion, as though it were Christmas Eve. :(

I'm just glad I am not working the next 2 days, as a delivery driver I''ll be glad to avoid the torrent of abuse thrown my way because someones order is wrong or missing their vital christmas dinner. I'd probably end up losing my job for telling people how much of an idiot they are for leaving it so late.

Supposed to finish at 10.30pm on Xmas Eve but will stay on till last trains at around midnight and lock up then get staff taxi home. Doing it to save the night turn coming in for just a couple of hours. Back in on Boxing Day. Tube stations only shut on Xmas Day.

My wife is opening her salon until 1pm tomorrow and isn't opening until 3rd Jan.

I'm in IT, so this week we've been taking it easy as much as possible :)
