meh, just had English exam..... science and french coming in the next week.
no money, no job atm (hoping to change this soon with some sort of weekend job)
bored of everything to do with games and wanting to do a course at school that i actually enjoy, not some hyped crap like the ict im doing which is just boring screenprinting and making a website..... oh and all my friends have got their peds/supermotos and i still have to wait another 6 months! :'(

Diet was easy - ketonic diet. I started on the 4th. However yesterday it really started to get difficult to follow. It's day 10 and the initial weight loss seems to have stopped, and the diet is geting really difficult to follow at work, because there's only so much I can do as far as food is concerned.

I had thought of sticking at it for 2 weeks then switching to a low GI diet and a bit of exercise. But I find it easier with black and white, can't have this can have that rather than limiting or counting.

Low carb diets take a while to work properly, hang on in there, you should see a significant weight loss in around 4 weeks.

They are also very hard to stick too and need a lot of dedication, and you have to sacrifice a lot but they are by far the best diet for weight loss.

Have you bought Ketosis strips to see if you are in Ketosis?

Yeah, I got Ketostix on monday and I've tested myself every day. Supposed to wait 15 seconds to see what the reaction is, but for me it's instant and positive.

Glad to hear 4 weeks in it helps... are you meaning a low carb diet, or are you meaning a proper just about no carb diet like I'm struggling with now?

My wellbeing since the entirely arbitrary temporal milestone you refer to has been largely similar to that of beforehand.

How has your wellbeing been since 15th November 2009?

Great so far, didn't have to work Christmas or New Years eve due to the my shifts dropping nicely. Picked up two additional days off due to my normal day off dropping on the additional bank holidays and then started to use up 21 accured days off on 31st December - not worked this year so far :)

I done the atkins diet which is 99% no carbs,i was having 20 grams of carbs a day which is hardly anything.

Stick with it,Low carb/atkins etc all work, try and drink atleast 2 litres of water a day aswell.

Yeah, I've heard the Atkins says to drink 2 litres of water a day, I'm not sure why it wants that though. I'm not doing it, but now that I'm reminded I may as well do it.

Atkins induction is 20 grams of carbs, which is what I was meaning, virtually none. Did you stick on the 20 or did you come off the induction after 2 weeks?

I stuck on induction throughout and lost 3 stone 7lbs in just over 3 months.

Drinking atleast 2 litres of water on the Atkins is really important as you body wont let you lose weight as quick else.

Im currently on Slimming world which is a much more balanced way of dieting, but weight loss cant be compared to the Atkins.

Going sort of OK... Work going fairly well, but have OH SO MUCH maths to do before my exams (got 6 (A2 exams) from next Wed to end of Jan). Not helped by DT teacher setting stupid irrelevant time consuming work that is completely off syllabus and he won't mark anyway, but gives detentions for not handing in. I would be ruder to him but seeing as he is just about the only person who will be able to help me with coursework I'd better not :(.

Seems like a fairly standard back to school time for me. However, I do have the looming end of school which is a little frightening tbh. Still in the pool for Cambridge, and still applying for pre uni placements to do next year. I'd better get somewhere good or I'll just have wasted about 24k :o.

In 15 days time things will be better... no exams till june....

Apart from that its been a good 2011
