Social Networking

As said before if they are good friends they shouldn't need to contact me through SN sites but over phone or email. :)

How is sending an e-mail in any way superior to sending a private message via facebook?

Main problem with MySpace is kids like this monstrosity;

"Scene/Emo" kids, ugh god I owned her though hahahaha, she deleted that comment fast I tell you.

How old are you, 12 or something?

You didn't like the look of her so decided to post a comment telling her how ugly you thought she was, and in doing so you feel that you have 'owned' her? How nice, very mature of you.

I don't think she's ugly, I just thought it was humourous and my friends agreed.

I'm 18 btw.

Also it did look like she was just hit in the face with a frying pan prior to taking that picture.

I don't know that the point is anything to do with it being superior, just simply that (personally speaking) anyone I want to remain in touch with I've probably gone to the relatively minor effort of getting their email/phone number/whatever so that I can keep in touch which renders Facebook or any other social networking site slightly redundant for that purpose.

I've also got no real desire or need to put more information about me out onto the internet than is already available so since I'm not going to be using the social networking site as intended I'd really prefer not to use it at all.

Another believer in the fact that it is an addictive waste of time lol.

I like using it to keep in touch with old freinds every now and again, its always nice when you get an old freind you havnt give a second thought to, since leaving school and asking how your getting on...
