Hey all

As per title looking for a software that automatically backs up contents of hard drive to another hard drive. (same computer)

So not looking to mirror but only backup the files on a daily basis, as mirroring could remove files that are accidentally deleted.

Not sure how some of the syncing software works, I'm assuming it won't remove files from the backup hard drive.

Thanks

Thanks for suggestions will look into them

Just used freefilesync which did the job but not sure if it can be automated.

goodsync is another one that looks good but it also has a paid version

Have you tried the backup software included with windows (I'm assuming that's what you;re using)?

Yeah but it doesn't work the way I want it to, i.e you can't actually see the files

If it's just data files, how about BitTorrent Sync ? It can syncronsise folders, including just one way. Can also do it over your LAN to another machine or over the Internet offsite.
