Solar panel production figures

23.8kWh and 11.0kWh exported.

It was quite cloudy at times today, so I'm hoping tomorrow is unbroken sunshine so I can finally see what it's capable of.

My best day yet since solar was installed 01/09/2022 was today, 24.9 kWh on the counter.

Weather was very good for the most part, though had some hazy sunshine and the odd dip with clouds in most of the morning/early afternoon. I think a perfect unbroken sunshine day and this can do even better, though 24.9 is probably not miles off my max this time of year.

43.58kWh, new record, I could potentially reach into the mid 50's

Circa 22kWh exported, wish Octopus would hurry up with my export, that's £6 I've given away today.

It's £6 you've made or offset off your bill - I don't see it as giving away, if you can't use it, you might as well earn some money from it!

Currently it's a case of if I can't use, and I can't get paid for it, I might as well give it away, wouldn't want to restrict my daily production would I ;)

Hopefully this week Octopus will get my export MPAN.

Perfect solar day at the moment, generating 5kW currently. Could be another record breaking day, but there are a few clouds around.

Yeah I realise! :o

Once you have all your batteries, how much do you think you'll be exporting anyway? You're going to generate more from april-october than your batteries can store and that you can use no? Are you bothered about exporting at all?

I can import/export at 8kW from the batteries, and export whatever the SolarEdge system is generating on top of that not accounting for house loads. I have DNO permission for a total of 11.68 (8 on the Victron & 3.68 SE) which I doubt it will ever reach. So in the three hour cheap rate window I could charge the batteries with 24kWh not allowing for losses, same goes for the peak export window, plus whatever the SE system is generating, but depends on what the house is using.

I'm perfectly happy exporting what we don't use/can't store but I'd prefer to be paid a decent rate for it.

Battery was full by midday, currently exporting at almost 6kW, 25kWh generated, 8.1 of that exported.
