Solar panel production figures

I dunno but it doesn't seem that big of a stretch doing it every 6 months or so. Not like I'd be switching every month.

I'm still hoping we get some more details on what this new GE tariff does as that could be my best bet, and hopefully we get details before I'd switch to Flux (later this month would be my plan, end of April ish).

Yeah thats why I dont think it would be an issue but equally the Flux tariff would be basically deserted come late autumn (another tariff would simply be better for most) and everyone flocking back late spring.

Its a good tariff for sure but feels kind of like it should flex with the seasons. Eg longer cheap window in winter but with a higher export when peak pricing is in force, with lower costs in summer and lower export when grid is less stressed.

At last with Octopus we know they look at these things so flux2, or maybe it should be "Octopus seasonal" ;) may be even better ;)

Im a day behind due to it being my birthday yesterday and also spending it ill in bed…..bummer, but hey, it is what it is.

so we did 5kwhs yesterday, but looking like and fingers crossed we may get 20kwhs today

I was hoping today would be a nice clear one but annoyingly cloudy all morning so far… small bursts of sunshine but nothing consistent. Supposedly it’ll clear up a bit in the afternoon.

Tomorrow is looking more promising potentially…. Would like at least one properly clear day to see what the actual max potential is this time of year!

14kWh so far for me, my 5.12kWh battery is full with 5.5kWh exported @.06p/kWh. I should have bought more batteries sooner, May is a long wait...

Presumably you're still on 50% deemed export, so paid regardless, so 7kWh at 6p.

My next batch of cells is due end of April, I've no excuse not to be ready for them, although the busbars are due in May, but I could use the supplier ones.

Yes deemed 50% but I would rather put it in a battery and still claim 50% ;)
I'm sure the suppliers busbars will come in handy for "testing purposes" until May Ron.

Nice, that's a lot of juice!

Despite very patchy output up until after midday looks like it might close out business today above 30kwh.

More impressively at this point I've only exported 0.45kwh of that, got a good charge into the car. Still a bit of room in the "tank" to absorb tomorrow but might run out of space if it's as forecast.
