Solar panel production figures

7.8kwh today, 1.65 efficiency:)

We had quite a heavy mist that didn't burn off until about lunchtime, but even with that we were still getting around 500 watts, peaking at about 2kw around noon.

I'm loving this sunshine! It's been 3 days on the trot now where I've used next to 0 electricity. That's about £10 of savings - as well as decent carbon reduction by not needing to use the grid. Octopus had a saver session recently - waiting to see the results of that - it was 9am-10am for me.

Its a cloudy one today, be happy if we get around 3kwh

:)

@Welshman it was heart-breaking watching the forecast yesterday knowing you will be the other side of this band of cloud today, suppose I was getting accustomed to the glorious skies the past few days. Better news (for me) is you get to join in a day later!

:D

Had a five day streak going of at least over 10kWh until today where I only got 5.9kWh also just noticed another saver session tomorrow so not fully charging the batteries tonight so I can charge in the 4 hours before to get a nice payback ;)

Will see how generation is tomorrow, from what I read though you want to leave hour before the session clear as well.

So finish charge by 16:00 if session is at 17:00.

Have they upped the rates? Over £3 per kWh sure it was £2 odd before.

Is that right? Heavy load from 3-4. Then the saving session from 5 looks at the load between 3-4 to calculate the savings?

I think if it’s 5pm start, use power from 1-4pm and this is taken into account. Last time out I tried this and used £1.20 in elec and got back about £6. Not to shabby :D
