Solar panel production figures

A great start to June for us - close to maxing generation every day.
Not sure what to do with all of this energy tbh ! Probably should sort export payments - we have gave away over 25 kWh so far this month, even at 4p a kWh that's £1.

Well there goes my Welsh sunday.
Its gone from high chance of rain and thunder showers to practically all day sun in the forecast.

Not that I am complaining, I set a decent increase in my record production yesterday despite having panels that look dusty.

After watching a few vids on cleaning impact I am not convinced that surface dust type levels on panels make more than a few percent diff. Big contamination like saucer plate size bird poops are far more of an issue.
 
I remember reading how bird poo damages car paint and contains some acids etc. If they need a rinse I cant see any issue with it but you should not need to do it very often.

Car paint maybe....but panels are glass, so shouldnt do much to that. I swilled mine off, but it didnt really do anything for the bird poo. Did remove the pollen and some other bits of debris that has been blown on to them.

Hopefully you will get saturdays much needed rain.....it aint rained here significantly since mid april according to todays news. Cloudy yes, rain....not a lot
 
Looks like 42 to 43kwh will be my max give or take. Consistently hitting it day in/day out for the past 2 weeks it seems. (on holiday so no idea how sunny or cloudy it's been) up to 333kwh after just 8 days of the month. 287 of which have been exported in my absence.
