- Officially least sunny location -Ronskistats
Was about 3pm when it showed, lets see what the rest of the day can contribute.
How many photons???The sun came out just in the nick of time. Battery was down to 22% when the gods of sunlight decided East Kent was due it's share of photons.
Really….is my solar gain not dispelling that myth yet??? LolI'm currently at record level and still gaining, watch this space...
next 3 days look almost perfect
Going to turn the overnight battery charging off until sat night.
Sunday looks horrendous, practically Welsh summer weather
Size and orientation of system again???yay 35.1kwh I bashed the 35 achivement
Next few days look good and also next week, I can probably eek 36 out if the day is perfect I would guess.
5.6 basically due westSize and orientation of system again???
Long evening sun then…with no shade5.6 basically due west
Long evening sun then…with no shade
Yeh i get that…..my man cave roof is pure south, which will be good when i add the new panels. But it does get shade early morning and after 6pm. But it will increase my export production for sureIndeed but its 11am before it basically starts to go up significantly. A good day it will creep up to 1.1kw or so by then and then whoosh it takes off
Its why with TOU tariffs (which I only think will increase over time) that I say West is better than East (but South still rules) since the profile will be the same but at opposite ends of the day and I would much rather have that late afternoon surge than an early morning one
Especially when my batteries can be full at 4:30am on cheap rate
Its like pea soup out there this morning....supposed to be in full sunshine.![]()
