Solar panel production figures

We just had a funny half hour this morning, can't even remember it going cloudy though.

@Ron-ski are you about to shatter my dreams of having finally beaten you by suddenly uploading a big old wodge of kWh?

Nope, been a rather poor day down here, just 25.28 kWh generated, still a little trickling in though. Exported 24.7 (14 at Flux peak rate) and imported 20.761 all at Flux cheap rate.

Not today, cloudy day, can't win them all.

Nope youve done him According to his vrm data…..

Spot on, although Victron has been having issues with the VRM, information overload and they've had to turn off the fancy graphs whilst they find the issue.

50.41 kWh generated
47.249 kWh exported (18.34 kWh between 16:00 & 19:00)
20.764 kWh imported

Net returned to grid 26.49 kWh

PS. Both Thursday & Friday are predicted to be 50 kWh days, with tomorrow forecasted at 16 kWh, which is odd, as tomorrows weather looks better than Thursday and Friday.

It certainly is, according to HA I discharged 15.67 kWh from the battery during peak time, the other 2.99 being from solar.

This is grid power for the day - from HA, not sure why there is that big downward spike at around 11:30 though, its not shown in the Victron graphs.

Perhaps they're dirty or as Zeeflyboy says there was more haze in the air. Still 40+ is not to be sniffed at!

I actually meant in relation to @Welshman saying he thought one of the temperatures reported in his inverter was the panel temperature, which I think is very unlikely.

WOW on a 4.7kw system, that is south facing I assume, that is very nice. You north/south/east or west location. I am really looking forward to finally getting mine up.

Yeah, not quite sure how I ended up with 4.7 in my signature, now corrected to 8.74kW.

If anybody thinks my generation is extreme @Peteronthesouthcoast generates a whole lot more than me, he generated 89.2kWh yesterday, but it is a 14.4kW system.

Something weird going on with the gaffs data, can see they have a baseline of generation at a few hundred watts all day long even when the sun is gone!
Pretty sure he's mentioned it on here before, believe it's the way it reports generation when using energy stored in the battery. How that works if the battery is charged from the grid I've no idea.
