I'm really interested to see how a sunny day in spring/summer is going to be. Although I don't get much shading it's been quite cloudy but the sun has been a lot lower (of course!). I'm already chuffed with the performance over winter but can't lie, quite excited to see what it's going to be like over a year.
It's sunny today but also kind of cloudy so goes in and out for generation a little.
I think in the peak of summer I will struggle to use all the power the system can generate and be sat there exporting a bunch like a lemon.
Good for the grid, less good for me given the chicken scratch SEG payments!
Think how clean your ovens will be though.
What's your system? You should be able to hit 30kWh during the summer if you've a well positioned array.
6.4kw south facing with a 31 degree pitch so yes I think 30kWh should be possible. I've hit 18+ in December on a day.
you wil be hitting 50/60 kwhs with that size system, only takes a 10hr sunny blue sky day6.4kw south facing with a 31 degree pitch so yes I think 30kWh should be possible. I've hit 18+ in December on a day.
Ahh, you're going to be smashing it with that setup. Congrats.
Here's hoping - just need to get an EV now to really exploit it. Only have a 9.5kw battery so I will be exporting a fair bit.
should be hitting over 40kwh a day in peak summer. I did a number of times in July and high 30s in August. 6.3kwh - 30deg pitch, 3deg off South.6.4kw south facing with a 31 degree pitch so yes I think 30kWh should be possible. I've hit 18+ in December on a day.
It still annoys me that you can't leave the racks in.
Everything else including the tray they gave me can be, but I have to clean the racks separately!
First world problems
unlikely, you don't start generating peak until 10am and when it's long days it usually comes with peak so you get clipping back. high 40s at a push I reckon will be my limit. Planning to move onto Agile at the beginning of April here as that should be when the solar can supply my wifes phev and house demand in full on 90% of days based upon October figures.you wil be hitting 50/60 kwhs with that size system, only takes a 10hr sunny blue sky day
Yeah, you'll be filling that up easily. What's your hotwater setup, can you heat that with electric?
Same. Good man.I have an eddi diverter. So that should be sorted.
Ive hit over 12kwh in November on a 3.2kwh system.....some of you on bigger ssytems should be hitting way above that
