Its temping to put panels across the rear south facing walls of my house, and perhaps even a solar veranda over the decking.

But I haven't got too much space, hence walls and veranda idea.
1020kWh this month so far, need another 50 to beat July, but the weather for tomorrow is not great, and Thursday looks even worse.
Apart from the bad weather the days have been getting shorter since 22 June, which format help.
My Solaredge system won't beat last year monthly total either, which was 574kWh, this month so far is 526, still better than a few previous years.
The whole system is at 1069kWh for the month, tomorrow looks OK until around lunchtime.

Export was 971kWh for the month.
Now a I know it lot of you think this has been a bad August, but it hasn't really.

Much nicer weather today, was expecting more than I've generated, just not seeing any of those 50+ days like May and June.
I suggest getting a nice beefy shed, you need planning for a ground mount array, but don't for a shed

You've got nothing to lose by trying to get on it, so worth a shot.
I've worked out how I can add another nine panels, but the Mrs says no, and I'm not keen on the idea.
I could make a solar canopy across the back of the house, 6 in portrait as the canopy, three in landscape directly on the wall above. This would be pretty much south facing.
But, I think it may make the lounge a lot darker darker, and will cause access issues if I need to get a ladder up the back of the house, unless I remove a panel as well.
But the idea keeps nagging away at me.

Unfortunately not, gardens not very big, and due to south facing unless the ground mount was near the house it would be shaded a lot.

That is my usual method, and she says I do what I want anyway. Already have 16 on the house roof, and 12 on the garage. If I wasn't concerned about the issues mentioned above then I probably would pressed ahead anyway

They do, but the one I've seen was for the American market.
Lucky you haven't setup them new panels, you would have beaten me!
11.6 kWh, with 10.4 exported, just upped my 2am to 5am charging to 120 amps to the batteries, they only got to 82% by 4pm.
Simple, remove the object causing the shade
December is always the worse.
