I’ll have a 4.8kw system from tomorrow lunchtime, will be good too see how much the new second string will produce.

Just 5.3kWh today.

Having only had our panels installed last month I'm still amused by the figures each day. 13.3 today, which is slightly better than yesterday. Had a few days in the last week where it was only 2 or 3kWh but the forecast looks like mostly sunny days for the next week so should hopefully get similar numbers to today. I am torn though as I hate summer as it's usually way too hot for my liking but, with the panels installed, all I want to see is long sunny days

This. It turned me into a weather nerd and the need to monitor stuff so I can maximise the generation really.

Don't mind the length as long as clouds bugger off when sun is out lol, I think yesterday for the most part I just covered house load whilst sun was out which is all I hope for, if I get a bit of charge out the battery then great.all I want to see is long sunny days

It's a 3.01 kWp system comprising of 7 Jinko 430W panels, a Renusol 3kW inverter and AlphaESS battery @ 10.08 kwh apparently

2nd string is live.........so we now have 4.8kw into a 3.6kw inverter. new panels are pointing perfect south and will help me get to 3.6kw output as my original highs were only around 3kws, so losing 600watts of potential extra power from the inverter.

Also I'm pretty sure the Solis inverter/app under reports generation a bit.
According to the app we have generated 4.5Mwh since install, but on the physical emlite meter we've just gone over 5Mwh.
This is also backed up by the fact that towards the end of a day on a clear day, when the generation goes down to around 60watts, our smart meter still shows 0 watts being used.
There is no way 60w covers everything in the house, even with everything turned off, we "idle" at about 180w.

My Victron over measures by about 5% on grid import and export, no idea how accurate the solar is.
Solaredge app reports a different total to our generation meter as well, 34,700 compared to 33,457.

The tolerances of the metering equipment wont be high grade compared to the regular import whole current for accuracy. So I agree, reminds me I should check the gen meter and see what that has..

I can tell from Octopus figures on import/export that the GE stuff I have is like 5% or so under-reporting.
Also no helped that my wireless dongle sometimes cuts out which means no data reading, think that is also part of it.
