I may have just pressed the button on getting another 4.62kW installed on the opposing roof. Its NW but should still be good for 2700kWh per year. By my calculations payback works out at 9 years assuming all units were exported at the Flux lower 15.5p rate, but in reality it'll be much better than that as it'll be maximum production late-afternoon and the evening in summer so coincides with the flux period and our heaviest use (air con). That'll be 9.42kW in total.
Could have done with it being clear today as the boiler broke down last night so we are having to heat a room downstairs and the water tank with electric, which will be £££££ no doubt.
