Solar panel production figures

I've not posted or linked my stats for the last few days for the following reasons.

In readiness for a possible move to Octopus Flux, I decided to do a couple of overnight test charges during the cheap period to see the battery charge rate, taking into account the winter temperatures. The following day I noticed my figures seemed skewed.

Having done some research it seems my SolaX inverter wrongly IMO, calculates generated power as PV power used plus battery power used. However, it does not subtract any grid power used to charge the battery. This is the first time I've charged from the grid so have not noticed this before. I tested this over the next couple of days and my concerns appear correct.

With this in mind, as these aren't true stats I've not uploaded them and won't until I find a way around.

Ha, its a nightmare. Solax basically is :
Usage is deemed yield. Plus export.

The only easy way round it is to download the details and sum the columns for PV and divide by twelve (as they are in Wh)

My Fox inverter is similar. In their infinite wisdom they don't feel you need to know the daily PV yield, instead giving a "Total yield" figure which is total nonsense as it includes battery discharge. The way around it is a calculation, which works great - until you charge the battery from the grid...

Today for example, by the calculation we generated 7.4kWh. Checking on the inverter it says 8.7kWh. Its lower by the calculation as its taking the grid AC > DC battery > AC losses into account. From a "cost" point of view its right, as that 1.3kWh is indeed lost, but its frustrating when you just want the generation number!
