Solar panel production figures

It's the original array generating most of the power at the moment, yesterday it generated 9 kWh, which means the garage array only added 2.7 kWh. The panels on the garage are at 10 degrees east/west, and also shaded around midday by a neighbours tree, due to the low height of the sun.

Ahh I get it then. I thought maybe like welshman the newer addition was the reason for strong performance.

My system gets shading on the west side for another few weeks from the low angle then it should step up to normal again.

My new addition hasnt been used for nearly 3mths now and wont be until early february that its back in use……..so my current performance is due to the roof system only.

when we got the 9.5kwhs the other day. 9.2 was from the roof and 0.3 was from the new ground mount. Hardly strong performance.

I think mine is still capable of 10kWh at this time of the year (It did 9.7kWh on 29th November) but I haven't had a perfect day since September!

i havent been posting much of late, December i was averaging maybe 1.5kwh per day generated..... yesterday i topped 3 however (yay!)

on the bright side anything i do generate is eeking out my battery through the day, anything which puts off me having to pay "peak" energy prices is good.

hopefully come February and i will start making it through to off peak periods with my solar / battery combo

From my observations direct south is better in deep winter but east/west split is better in summer. (south)West is especially nice for flux exporting in summer.

A pretty much perfect day today! The GivEnergy app says we generated 24.43kWh. Not sure why the dashboard lags behind and says 23.1kWh.

1.13kWh

It was pretty sunny, however the DC side was turned off much of the day while my new panels were installed.

All done and dusted. An extra 4.62kW panels on the other roof. 9.42kW total. Summer should be fun.
