Solar panel production figures

6.40 today. I'm finding the weather forecast for sun very poor to help me predict how much overnight charge to enable on the battery. I also use Solcast but clearly I'm not understanding it as the forecast appears not to be accurate either?

Octopus Flux import
Just fully charge in the cheap rate period, it's what I do. Costs me 17.63p per kWh to charge the batteries. If there is sun, and I end up exporting then I get 18.38p per kWh. Yes I probably lose a little to the efficiency losses, but it's negligible, and saves trying to guess what the weather is going to do.

9.36 generated. 8.38 exported at peak rate.

2.4 kWh today
129.8 kWh for February
174 kWh estimated
186.4 kWh last February (and that was from the 4th of February and no leap year!)
Terrible weather this month

8.1 today, 8.0 exported.

281.0 for the month against a target of 288.7. 192.3 on the SE panels and 88.7 on the NW.

Last year did 266.1 on the SE array on its own so this year was much worse.

Did better than expected today, but still only 11.86 kWh, which brings the month to a close at 296 kWh (January was 228) just missed the 300.

It is the worse February since my panels were installed in December 2015, but it was only very slightly worse than February 2017, where the Solaredge system generated 160.779 kWh compared to 160.543 kWh this year. The best Solaredge February was in 2019 at 265.66 kWh.
