I often look at the cloud radar, and the clouds just seem to melt away as they pass over the Isle of Wight, similar to what often happens here, but seems to work better down there.

Look at the Needles Lighthouse. As the weather system comes in, it will hit it and just part. There's a ridge of downland that runs across some of the Island. You can have 2 completely different seasons each side of it. Summer one side, Winter the other.

Very up and down day but made 28.90Kwh from it on the house and 10.40Kwh on the workshop

House System is East West
down in not so sunny Devon.
East 8 x 420w panels 45 deg pitch
West 10 x 420w panels 45 deg pitch
Givenergy Gen3 5kwh hybrid
2 x 9.5 battery's

Workshop system is South/East
2440w of panels two 720w strings
one 1000w string
Hybrid inverter with 4x 12v 100Amp
Battery's
Plus grid tie inverter as well
