Solar panel production figures

Weather was a lot better than expected today, cloudy but only early morning and late afternoon rain.

SolarEdge: 6.9 kWh
Garage: 7.49 kWh
North west roof: 7.16 kWh
House rear wall: 1.5 kWh

Total generated today: 23.05 kWh
Total exported today: 20.78 kWh

The north west roof was more than SolarEdge and almost as much as the garage.

So the day was bad but we had a bright spell mid afternoon and made a poor 6Kwh on the house no export
The workshop made 1.70Kwh no export

House System is split East West
down in not so sunny Devon.
East 8 x 420w panels 45 deg pitch
West 10 x 420w panels 45 deg pitch
Givenergy Gen3 5kwh hybrid
2 x 9.5 battery's

Workshop system is South/East
2440w of panels two 720w strings
one 1000w string
Hybrid inverter with 4x 12v 100Amp
Battery's
Plus grid tie inverter as well

Same here today: 4.5kWh on the NW side and 4.1kWh on the SE. I have often found this on totally cloudy days, even though the SE array is slightly bigger.

Anyway, another dreadful day here. Just 8.6kWh generated and 9.6kWh exported.

EV arrives on Tuesday but I cant go on Intelligent go until at least the 7th October as they aren't fitting the charging point until then!

How much of that do you think is down to cloud or just better panel technology generally that is much more efficient/effective at low light.

The Solaredge panels are 4kWp, the North West roof is 5.22kWp

In the afternoon the NW panels were generating more, and that's when they're more in the sun, not that we had much.

Pretty rubbish weekend.
Friday: 12.2
Sat: 10.9
Sun: 4.5

Panels currently generating just 89w this morning, and the rest of the week looks like it might be bad too.

It was nice having 6 months of no energy bills, but it seems like it might be a good time to switch from Octopus Flux to Octopus Go.

[edit] tariff switch requested via website
