you can still order from american retailers on amazon, I've ever seen them on the amazon UK website with the estimated import fees listed

your login likely works on amazon USA anyway I can login to amazon.de with my .co.uk login and still order stuff on there

Isn't there a site, can't remember the name, that allows you to create virtual cards? You can set up maximum spend, one time only cards, looking I think there are a few companies that do this, do a search for "virtual credit card".

I thought paypal did it, I'm pretty sure they even had a browser addon for it like a decade ago
