some what basic rig for my step kids = what do you think ?

My advice is to avoid gainward's 'GOOD' (read: naff) cooler if you have any intentions of SLIing.

It'll be alright as a single card obv, but don't put two of them together, they don't play nice.

a tenner more gets you a gigabyte windforce or msi twin frozr3 card..

Core: 780MHz, Memory: 1280MB 4000MHz GDDR5, Stream Processors: 480, Shader Clock: 1560MHz, for my mine sig pc then it will have my old mint 280gtx in it so the games will be nice & quick for the kids & me too :).

& optimalnrg i will just be using a single card mate as i dont really like Sli'ing as yet, plus the new build is down at my girlfriends so i will not be using it that much, & i have my sig pc what is my main pc.


good to say i have hve some great help off here, so i better my save some cash fast & get the parts asap.... but i have a cam belt change next week booked in for my audi a4 2.5 tdi so that is going to cost me a bit.

however i will see what i can do asap as i like this new build but my main rig feels left out now......lol

oh my what have i done,,,,,,,

i got the cpu cooler & the tp-link wifi card however i broke in to my isa a bit & got the mint zotac 570 gtx amp gpu card & wow it all mosted doubled my 280 gtx scores !!! the card is very quick for me & my games, so i put the 280 gtx in this i3 built & it runs very nice & smooth now in most of my games.

so thank you all & i look forward to playing on this great i3-2120 over the next few days as the kids can wait ( they are young so they have no need to use it ha-ha ).
