Someone bumped my car

Man i'm lazy... Took some water and a non scratch scourer to it today. Looks like i just need T-Cut or something.

Thanks for the responses - here is a close up.

Thinners - can i use white spirit?

Is that the primer showing? Is the black stuff from the other ***********'s car or my bumper?

Had a look in halfords today but not sure what product to get:
Turtle wax with stick thing
Or
T-Cut scratch remover
Or the normal t cut polish?

So thinner (white spirit?) on the black bits and hopefully one of those waxes? Or shall i get a touch up pen? I think they're a tenner.

Wtf are you serious:confused: This grip this whole 'detailing' thing has on people really gets to me.

You would be best off taking the rest of it off with some thinners, and then polishing it afterwards.

I have no idea if 'menzerna' is any good but T-Cut is crap. It may have been useful 20 years ago but not now with metalic paint and clearcoat

I used T-Cut scratch removed after i hit a van rear bumper and scuffed my wing and headlight and it worked a treat, you need to use normal polish after as the scratch remover is mildly abraisive. Looking at the damage i think you've lost some paint.

Yep, plenty of white spirit all over the affected area. That will clean it up a treat :)
(dont do that)

Thanks for the brackets bit! *puts white spirit down*

I'll look into getting a touch up pen and covering the primer and t cut scratch remover!

Must buy polish and thinners...

Had the same to me - also had scratching on the side just by stupid ****** idiots.

I came back to the car and I saw a women looking shiftily over at me from the car next to me. Then went around the side of the car to see the colour paint from her car and then a slight dent in the passenger door was absolutely livid but as it was private parking theres sod all you can do.
