Someone got the Radeon R9 290 by mistake 'primouf' OCUK

No i ain't happy !! i'm furious, they are ripping people off but it's ok i've benched it and it's a lot better then i thought.
I will be sending it back soon and even if i pay the shipping at least i did some benchmarks for everybody :)

going to check out if OCUK can ship to France and see the prices, i don't have much luck lol i ordered a 280x before the 290 and it didn't work and had to send it back....

Ask them to refund the full amount and you get to keep the card, or you will grass them up to AMD. That's not blackmail is it? :D
 
So, based on the benchmarks is this 290 close to the X then? For example, is it another case of 7950/7970 like last gen whereupon the end user (providing one had the cooling) could push the 7950 -> 7970 levels with overclocking?

I think that is blackmail but considering its all over the internet already...

Does this count as that retailer breaking thier NDA?
 
just got the hotline, they finally understood the Please fully star all swear words up and are paying the shippement back and refund, i didn't ask for more i ain't that kind of guy.

tonight i will try some more benchmarks in 3Dmark extreme and see if i can OC it abit more ;)
