Someone hates me

why the hell would they do that? that makes no sense at all.

unless its a supermarket wanting more customers?

You have me 3 other neighbours and the police confused! The shed had quite a decent lock on but being a wooded shed they quickly got in.

I dont get it! I think I may have to take them or atleast get somebody out as it will be quite hard transporting all my stuff to a shop.

Ohh I had a boat load of PC leads, and all the extensions have gone.

Breaking into sheds for wires? I mean whats the world coming to.

Nothing has happened to my stuff thankfully, though I did wake up this morning to find someone has decided to dump two 2m long pipes in front of the house

Declare my cars bumpers and skirts to Churchill. Get told they arnt going to cover them and my cover will be cancelled. I also lose this years NCB I had been saving.

So that £835 to pay for new insurance cover :( with Admiral.

Mine are all broken at the moment and I'm getting jerked around by an engine builder who have screwed up the crank and currently have the head :(

Thanks to my car and the fact that the tax man doesn't never read any of the paperwork we sent him, I owe the tax man £1400 to be paid off over 1 tax year starting April. With that added on top of the increase in tax, I'm shafted till May 2012 :(

First, my car gets stripped of its bumper, and spoiler costing £700 to fix.

then tonight, while out on a hoon, one of my bran new (sub 500mile) CS3 tyres goes flat.... yes, a big metal spike sticking in it. Thats another £130 down the drain then :(

So has anyone else's year been this bad yet?

Not yet but it could start going down the pan. Last year the car cost me about £1700 not including servicing. It then started off this year with an electrical fault that causes a fuse to blow instantly taking out the climate control (great fun driving with constantly misted up windows), cruise control and a few engine sensors for good measure. It also has a CEL as of yesterday and I can't even be bothered to find out why.

Goes in on Tuesday for a diagnosis and I'm sure it will come out with a big bill attached :(

ah another good one.

i got the tyre repaired, and as i was putting the wheel back on, my dad came home from work. He straight away walked up to my other rear tyre, where a tiny screw was sticking in it. Luckily this was in the tread and didn't go deep enough to puncher it... What next?! :/

75 squid to repair a rear light, because I backed into a tree.

Other than that, 2011 is turning out to be a good year. MOT passed without any problems (first time it's not failed for over a decade). Insurance renewal actually turned out cheaper than what I found by shopping around, and much cheaper than last year's. And another 30 quid off again when I phoned them up and asked to have my mum added as a named driver.

What went wrong with the Octavia to cost £1.7k?

So far mine is going OK. Car has MOT soon though so and needs a cambelt / tensioner / water pump and a service.

Car developed a leak just after NY which I kind of sorted myself, now the battery is playing up I think so I'll be dropping it to the garage tomorrow since the engine management light came on today :( also tax/MOT/insurance renewals all due next month, bad times.

My bad year was last year came back off hol for find some one had ripped the ST badges off the front grill and boot of my Fiesta. They used a screwdriver to try and get the badge off which resulted in the boot lid needing a full respray, and because the badge snapped coming off they keyed the rear quarter of the car meaning most of that needed spraying

Touch wood no problems this year so far.

Someone loves me - Had the Soarer nearly a year and still not a single mechanical issue :).

Will spend the weekend fixing the odd niggles that I've ignored for too long, new pads and discs on the rear, new tyres all around next weekend and we'll be ready for Brands Hatch .
