Ok my problem is that i have just built a new ish rig but it wont boot up, it will start but wont give me anything on the screen parts are as followed

EVGA Z68 FTW mobo
EVGA 680 superclocked
i5 2500K
16gb Corsair vengance Ram
AX1200w Corsair

so i just water cooled the whole lot and wont give me anything on my display

The only thing i have to go on its the little number display that is on the mobo says 2E which i imagine is a fault code of some sort but i cant find out what it means

Any help would be lovely

Thanks

Is the 8pin ATX plugged in?

Have you connected the monitor to the GTX680?

Have you plugged two 6pin plugs into the GTX680?

Try shorting the two pins manually with a screwdriver on the board that the power switch connects too

ClearCMOS.

yes the monitor is connected as well as the power to the 680 i can get it to boot up/run as the mobo is lit up fans are going ect but just no picture on the display

keep with one stick for the time being, test each slot but im pretty sure it will boot up from any of the slots using just one stick of ram,try reseating your graphic card

or test without it to see if onboard graphics work, you might need a more updated bios to get the gtx680 working/detected ect

Pull the GTX680 out and use the onboard GFX solution.

Mobo doesnt have onboard graphics

z68? 2500k? cpu and mb will have onboard graphics(built into the cpu graphics chip,hdmi/dvi/vga ports on mb)

Just seen that, thats pretty rubbish to be honest.

I said the same about Gigabyte when they use to do an early range of Z68 boards without any display connectors.

ok so dont know what has just happened but for some reason it has just booted up fine, i will install windows on it and do a few restarts and get back to you guys.
Thank you to all that helped with my problem will let you know if its fixed
