Someone stole my ST badge

Scrotes the lot of them, have had 2 of my cars keyed, the first was my then new gleaming Renault 16v Chamade and then my new Vectra CDX.

Keying normally makes my blood boil but saw something outside my office in Slough the other day which did make me laugh. Think it was a 206 in black which had 1 side with key marks up and down on all the panels. I'm talking up and down with the scratches around 2" apart, including all along the C pillar. First thing that came to my mind was angry girlfriend/wife, nothing angrier then a women scorned!

Have I hell.

Still have the headlight covers but those stupid jacking point covers fall off at the thought of a slight breeze, never mind when I go for a spirited drive.

Surprisingly I have 2 of 4 remaining.

Hahah you want to get yourself some better ones I have lost one in 18 months and have one that falls off occasionally but just flaps about until I pull over and pout it back in for the next few months! Get yourself a TDDI badge!!

Nipped into Ford over Preston Farm to see what badges they had.

Came out with these :D

Yay or nay? :p

Think the LX is in the wrong place slightly, however it is covering a scratch which was in the middle of the old ST220 badge.

Now any unsuspecting boy racer will think they have been destroyed by a 1.8 LX :p

(If they don't see the exhausts ;))

Still not sorted it, nor the 3ft long key mark down the passenger side, think mine is one of the scabbiest RSs going :p

Nah, there's one in Darwen near me and I don't think that's ever been cleaned (unless that's you :D).

Despite parking on the street about 200 yards from a small town centre which is populated by chavs and dieing people, the CTR was never touched by my mirror folded in a few times and someone poured a McDonads coke on my rood and put the cup on my ariel. No damage and no stolen badges oddly.

I was always expecting them to get nicked though, so maybe that's Karma for you.

My mate had the T4 badge off his Volvo S40 T4 lifted off his boot with a screwdriver causing £370 worth of damage. I thought us Volvo drivers were above this!

Do it.

Reminds me of an old friend who bought a stolen / recovered Sierra Sapphire RS Cosworth. It had its body kit, spoiler, bumpers & wheels nicked he replaced the parts with those from a 1.8 LX and had wide tyres on steel wheels rather than alloys.

It used to surprise a lot of people! :D

It looked for all the world like a lowered LX with a fat exhaust, a great "Wolf in Sheeps Clothing" :D

R420LA6X2/4MNA - completely off topic, but do you mind if I email you at some point (via trust) regarding some truck job issues?

Not at all.

One of my e-mail addys is in my trust mate

I did, that's my car :p

Ahh right! - I did not read the post properly I guess... :o Anyway, you did ask "Yay or Nay" :p ;)

No they won't - besides, how many people are you going to 'destroy' who will even read it?

Shame :(

Probably a few 'tards who won't know what Mondeo it was and may catch me up at some lights.

Anyway, needed to cover up the scratch as it was annoying me and didn't want to fork out £20 for an ST220 badge so decided a couple of quid for an LX and TDCI badge (lol) will cover it up.

Incase i'm being targeted I didn't want the same thing happen again.

Whilst typing this i'm trying to think of something witty to say about a certain M badge on a certain BMW :p
