Someone stole my ST badge

I had someone steal the little rubber stops from inside my last car's petrol filler cap... so when closed one end of it sat 1/4 of an inch further into the panel than it should.. and BIZARELY.. someone stole the FIAT badge off the back too.. that puzzled me somewhat.

You have to question what runs through someones head to steal a fiat badge.. :s

Got you email Pete but had already left for work. When I get home I'll get the rest of the foam off and pop it in the post tomorrow. Will email you once it's done so you know :)

Recieved it today mate. Thank you very much :D

Will nip down to B&Q and get some ultra strong double sided tape and then stick it on later :)

It would be better to use mirror fixing pads as they're ultra strong and once settled ultra rigid.

Plus it will hug any slight curvature of your lid which tape won't !

No problem. Better than just sitting around in my room :)

When I had to put a badge back on my old MR2 I went to halfords and got some strong adhesive double sided sticky pads. They do em in small and think (I got thick as they are the same sort of size as the original foam pad) and they are more than enoguh to keep it stuck in place.

They are basically like what was on it originally. They were with all the electrical bits in my local store in Bish-Vegas. :)

EDIT:// These sound like the same sort of things mrk is talking about :)

Have I hell.

Still have the headlight covers but those stupid jacking point covers fall off at the thought of a slight breeze, never mind when I go for a spirited drive.

Surprisingly I have 2 of 4 remaining.

Mine all secured with discreet applications of extra strong elephant tape.

As for the debadging what a scrot! They are a couple of quid of ebay...grr.

I would be seriously miffed if I came out to find any of the parts missing off my ST.

*touches wood*

Came home last week to see someone had nicked the swizzle badge off my mk3 mondeo, then noticed all the other mondeo's and fords with swizzle badges on my street had been done to.

Thought it was just my street, but driving around the town, I am seeing all these fords missing badges.

Some scroats get an idea in school and it spreads and they all do it. Can't be bother to replace it yet, as they will probably just nick it again

grudas I'm loving your DUB!!!! <3

Edit: I remember some **** keyed the back of my old man's STI (It was horrible) when he bought it brand new. ****in chav scums need to go to school.
