Brilliant. :D

I suppose now your just waiting for the police to turn up as your going to be done for assault, then you will have to pay this scumbag compernsation, good luck. :D

yeah thats what would probably happen, least if you were in america you coulda shot them and got away with it, I hate this country where you defend yourself or property and get conviction for it.

As posted before though, whats he going to do, goto the police who probably have his fingerprints on file and say..

"Look mate, i was trying to pinch this car right, but the owner came out n smacked me one on the kisser" If i was a cop i would point towards the door get him to face it and kick him up the arse.

Police Brutality

Whatever anyone says, I think you did what 99% of car owners would do if they saw someone tampering with their P&J. Sad to say, but that's the only kind of langauge these oxygen theives understand. Just a shame you didn't have Mickey D and his arsenal of armour piercing rounds nearby ;)

Did you find any teeth? :p :D

No, didn't see any teeth but there was a small amount of blood, which was surprising, as it was a good smack but it normally takes a minute or two for the blood to start dripping from your nose or mouth.

I've got a very sore hand though, but sod it. I felt good giving the theiving bugger a good hiding. There wasn't anything left in the car visable of any value. I don't think I'll ever see or hear of this again, I think the shock of getting caught and punched in the face will be enough..

Tell you something though, just got a quote for a new door mirror, Honda want the best part of a few hundred quid. They are fully electric, with side indicators and fully heated.. How the hell he broke it I just don't know... I'm looking to see if I can get it reattached without buying a whole new unit. It's only the casing broke, around where it attaches to the door.

normally when you punch people? :p

Seriously though, should be able to fix the casing on the mirror I would have thought :)

It is a Honda Accord 2.0 ivtec sport, but it has the optional 17 inch sport rims, sports option pack and full body kit. In silver, all in all, a very sporty looking car. Not type R performance, but still very good once into the 4k range.

Just about to turn three years old. Can't understand what a 17 year old is going to do with such a big and powerful sports four door car. If he was 17, might have been older, but he was no older then 20 for sure...

I doubt he was after the car.

It's more likely that he saw the alloys/bodykit and assumed that you were the kind of person who'd have some decent ICE in there worth nicking.

Nope the law states if he comes at you with his fist and you smash him over the head with a hammer you will be up in front of a judge cause that's too much force.

If he was stood by your car trying to steal it, you went out shouted at him and then he turned around and looked like he was going to attack its deemed as reasonable force to defend yourself (Punch Him) if IV had attacked him with a knife or a screwdriver he would be in the local police station already.

thats not entirely correct, if you were acting in self defence and just happened to have a hammer in your hand then you would be ok. however you would have to prove why you were near your car hammering away at something else in the dark at that time in the morning ;]

If I remember correctly, if someone is on your property you are allowed to defend it. In extreme circumstances you can even kill the intruder. As long as he wasn't running away and he was on your actual property at the time then you should be ok.

Maybe he fell on it when you punched him, thus cutting him and you finding blood.

Maybe try a scrappies for a casing?

Surely there were no punches thrown and when you 'surprised' the twoc'er he slipped and fell onto the mirror. :)

If punches were thrown (which they obviously weren't if anybody asks) then top man anyway!! :D

good man, well done i know i would loose it but probably not stop myself after one punch to see him run away.
welldone anyway! i bet it felt so good.

You’d never seen me run down the stairs and shoot out the door as fast as I did. The guy checking the doors never even got the chance to see my fist smash his teeth in. He then scrambled up off the floor and ran after his mate in a cheapo looking ford escort as his mate drove off without him. He managed to get into the getaway car and both of them drove off…

Well done mate. Now the scum will probably think twice before attempting to steal another car. :)
