Tell me how to backup Windows 7 partition from a H.D.D to another different H.D.D. Then I will format said drive and after two weeks return the partition and remove the H.D.D back into my old PC.

You can keep the doggy biscuits and I just take the dog..

Try macrium reflect, there is a free version that works with windows 7 and is very good. My advice is free, payment of doggy biscuits not necessary.
