Songs that give you 'goosebumps!'

Wow MikeHunt79, this is a great track, I love Eva Cassidy's version too. In fact most of Eva Cassidy's music gives me the chills. Thanks for posting the video, what a great remix and a wicked video. Love it!
Cheers, I'm glad you like it, I must admit I've not heard the Eva Cassidy version until I looked it up a few minutes ago... She has a great voice. :)

The Jamie Woon original is acapella, with only backing vocals... But Burial has sprinkled his magic dust on it which really adds to it. :)

Another one of his, really you can't go wrong most of his songs are "goosebump material" IMO... This one is called "Homeless"

Really love pink floyds, shine on you crazy diamond. I seen old video clips of floyd from years ago, then i borrowed the discography from my brother in law. What an amazing band. also like some linkin park stuff, particularly numb.

Embarrassingly, Man of the Hour by Pearl Jam almost makes me cry, but for personal reasons. Although it is an amazingly beautiful song in itself.

Especially from 3:08 when Luther does that thing. :D

also one of the best live performances I've seen... someone should start a thread. (about best live performances)

I respect these guys, particularly stevie wonder, he's one of my heroes but the thing that Luther does at 3:18 made me laugh!

The cover of Perfect Day done for Comic relief still gives me goosebumps, as do:

Kronos Quartet - summer overture (from requiem from a dream). Such a powerful song, but a bit overused on tv nowadays

Ilan Eshkeri - Drive to the boatyard (From Layer Cake)

Radiohead - Street Spirit

Sarah McCloughlan - Possession (acoustic)

Enya - It's in the rain

Usually need to be in the right mood and a quiet room to get goosebumps though.

Oh yes I agree with most of your post Mokey Puzzle, particularly Sarah McCloughlin, her song 'Adia' gets me everytime and 'Patience of Angels' B.E.A utiful...

Breaking Ties (Flow Mix) - OceanLab

tbh i don't really see how any other genre apart from mega uplifting trance can give you proper goosebumps. But then i am seriously biased. lol
