Tickets purchased! Me and a friend (and maybe some other friends, honestly not sure what they're doing) are going now. I entered Psymonkee's code too :P

But that was painful on the bank account...
I may greet camp ocuk at some point, but I don't have phone internet so I'll be at a loss to who's who. We'll need an identifier or just a meeting point or something mad like that. I suppose we could stick pictures of Hovis to our tents or something.

Also what happens when it finishes? I assume the things finish on sunday evening, but we don't have to leave until monday morning? I've never been to a festival before either, so I expect this'll all be rather daunting. Augh.

Yep the music stops Sunday night but they'll not kick us out till lunchtime on Monday. The best thing though? Stop anyone (I mean anyone!) and they'll help you out! Everyone is super friendly!

As for camping - are you early entry? If so we'll try and hook up with you in the entry line (if your there early). If not then we can always try and get some sort of bread based call sign on the go! :D

Super-friendliness is definitely a wonderful thing.

If by early entry you mean a 4-day ticket and planning on getting there on thursday afternoon, then aye. They seemed to have sold out of 3-day tickets at some point this afternoon, so I put off waiting and just bought the 4-day ones so I didn't miss out. That really wouldn't've been cool. Ten pounds more isn't really that much anyways, so I don't really mind too much.

Are there normally queues to get in then? Pleh. I'll be the tall 20-year old guy, probably wearing a metal t-shirt. Helpful. I do have a few not-black t-shirts though, they could be very helpful. Hell, one of them's even yellow. A bread based call sign might not be a bad idea.

And no problem on the code, it wasn't exactly a lot of effort :)
 
I'll make sure that we create some kind of ocuk flag the night before we go and I'll put it on the trolley I'm taking to carry stuff. It'll be flying high in the queue!
 
ILl either camp with you guys or pop round at some point, Ill be the short young guy with long curly hair and a toy duck/platypus tied to my back :)
 
Aha, I called mine Paul :P, Just pondering on whether to attach him to a hat so its easier for you guys to spot me.
And i vote for an Ocuk Logo perhaps surrounded by a few loaves of hovis, and ofc i will get some Hovis before the festival :D
 
I'll start saving hovis wrappers and then we'll selotape them all together tomake a flag and then slap a big pancake in the middle :p

Definitely should pre-arrange some sort of meeting/drinking place, I won't be carrying my phone around with me for instance

I will be there 2-3 o'clock on the Thursday camping with my mates.

Unfortunately i am yet to turn 18 so wont be drinking, but by the sounds of things ill be pre-occupied laughing at the drunkeness of you guys :P
 
Hmm, Sounds like ill have to have some drink :P
What do you lot do about food? I am tihnking of pre cooking some pasta and putting some sauce on it then putting it in a little box, other than that just living off cuppa soups/pot noodles?
