Awesome news that season 3 is good and that they are going to do season 4. Going to have to check out season 3. From season 1&2 SOA has been the perfect follow on from the Shield

Although I found it seriously weird having the guy who plays Wagenbach on the Shield portraying a different character.

Not sure I have, although I remember them wanting to go after the irish. But was the start of that story line in season 2nd

That is just a season two story line. Was one of the first few episodes of the season. The third season mainly takes place in Ireland.

In fact, quite a few of the actors playing Irish people were obviously not Irish so their accents were dodgy. The big priest in S3 is actually Scottish!!

Chibs is the only one with an authentic accent but thats because he comes from Scotland (as does his nickname*) LOL

*Chibs, (pronounced "ch-ibbs") is his nickname due to the scars on his face. Slashing/hitting someone with a sharp object is called "chibbing" in Glasgow e.g. "I got chibbed", "you're getting a chibbing pal" etc etc

Absolutely awesome show, can't wait for season 4.
I didn't even realise that the guy who plays Jax is actually English and started out in Byker Grove haha, he turned out way cooler than Ant and Bloody Dec.

Only in the US so you can't talk about it til it's aired in the UK. No-one's picked it up yet but I'm guessing FiveUSA will probably show it as they've done the other UK seasons.
