Anybody watch this, has slipped through unnoticed but recently saw an episode from the first series and loved it. It's made by the same folks that did the Shield apparently...that's an immediate win for me.

And if anyone has watched it, is it consistently good/bad, hit and miss?

Well i'm 7 episodes in and loving this, it's very uncompromising and pulls no punches, exactly the kind of tv I love while still having a lot of heart, i hope this runs for a long time.

EDIT: Thanks to the other guy who recently posted for the reminder about this, meant to post about this for a while

Guys...please use your common sense and stop commenting on the episode. It hasn't aired here yet and if you carry on, this thread will get closed.

While I don't agree with the rule, I can respect it. I've seen the episode and as much as I itch to talk about it, I have to control myself on this forum ;)

This thread has been around for a few years I think, why is it people can't wait to discuss an episode, it's still as good/bad a few weeks/months after it was first shown, let's just be patient.

I have RTM'd you, you're getting childish and ruining things for other people with your latest post, edit your post before anyone else see's it and please grow up.

I also urge anyone else on this thread to RTM him, quicker the mods see it, quicker he get's a temporary holiday I hope
 
Just been looking at the cast list from Season 4...now has 3 regular cast members from The Shield in it, Aceveda, Ronnie and Lemansky. Not surprising really as it's from the same creator.
 
Clay is definitely still alive, first bullet strikes his belly, second strikes his upper left chest...he'll be in a lot of pain and mortally wounded but alive.

Who wants to bet that he'll tell Jackson about Gemma's involvement with his dads death before he pops!
 
For those who don't know, the guy who plays Otto is Kurt Sutter who wrote most of The Shield and also Sons. He is also married to Katey Sagal who plays Gemma.

The Shield is excellent, so underrated. You rightly mentioned a lot of familiar faces....Dutch, Lem, Aceveda, Ronnie...i'm sure there is another.
