the site i mentioned (will remove now anyway) is not a film site it just hosts TV aired episodes, not illegal

Honest question as as far as I'm aware these sites don't pay for the rights to host or stream these shows, making them illegal.

TV streaming sites - Many TV sites have been setup to link to other places on the Internet that stream or allow you to download full TV shows from external sources. These sites will often have disclaimers citing they're not responsible for the content that's linked on the site, and will have links to report broken links. While the link sites themselves are not illegal, the content that's being linked to is often considered illegal. We also highly recommend avoiding these sites since many of them or the pages they're linking to are riddled with intrusive advertisement, spyware, and other malware.

I haven't mentioned any download sites?!

As for downloading, what is it? The white elephant in the room? I don't have SKY, so I download the shows I want to watch. Shoot me - I am a very bad person :(
 
I pay for sky to which airs sons of anarchy, so I don't feel bad about downloading it a day early. My brother usually watches it on the box downstairs on uk release anyway.

lol not from my end matey. I was serious about the question I asked regarding the legalities of hosting/streaming tv. From what I read it's not illegal to host but it is illegal to stream. That was just after a few google searches hence my question.

We all know the forum rules so I'm happy to let the people who break them learn the hard way ;)

i already said its not a streaming site, its a place to download aired tv shows. I have sky but will often download shows from the site to watch on my laptop when on the go. the link is removed now so no problem.

i remember, can you please remember you are not a don/mod/admin or anyone of any importance on these forums. no need to "poo poo" or "teacher teacher" every thought, post or opinion that might not be black or white.......clearly how you see the world.
