I can't remember if i ever watched the first season or just picked it up at some point down the line. I should probably start over at some point.

Recently started watching this right from the start. Thought it was fantastic, best thing I've seen for a while...until they went to N.Ireland! Does it improve again after that? Feels like it's dragging on forever, and the accents are so terrible it's starting to grate on me a little bit..

the NI episodes were crap TBH. Yes, it gets much better when they get back to their home turf.

Season 3 was an abomination and clearly the worst series to date. That said, the season finale was good if I remember right. It does return to its normal standard after they leave the whole Irish thing behind as a bad memory.

As everyone says, the NI bit is terrible, think of it like the first half of Season 2 of the Wire.

It picks up in Season 4 but the repetition of the show is getting frustrating. They need to come up with an ending and stick to it to salvage it.

Loved this show. Can't wait for next season. Some unbelievable story lines but its always action packed and well acted.

they have an ending. the 7th season.

its loosely based on hamlet, so you can work out the ending somewhat

Have to say that I'm sick of hearing 'Blahblah, protect my family!' though.

Tig has to be one of the best characters in any show. That guy needs moar screen time.
Gemma needs to understand that they're not her ******* kids... Jeez.

I've really enjoyed it so far. Sometimes it is a bit of a cheese fest and can be repetitious but production standards are high and it is certainly well acted. Very blokey though, my wife can't stand it even though she has loved other things like Sopranos etc.

Just finished watching all the episodes on Netflix, it only went up to the end of Season 4 though. I'm guessing that Season 5 has already aired on TV but hasn't been put on Netflix yet?

Still down as "Fall 2013" for 13 episodes so early September looking at the start date of the other 5 seasons.

I started off with this show thinking "meh".

It rapidly picked up and I was like "awesome".

Then it descended into sheer mediocrity (how you can make a bunch of bikers mediocre is beyond me).

Then it descended into repetitiveness.

Then it descended into boredom (the times that stuff could have been solved with communication).

Will not be waiting for the final season.

I've enjoyed it, though I have to admit I'm not overly bothered about catching season 5. Just started Jericho as I have nothing else to watch, enjoying that too so maybe I just like rubbish TV shows.
