I've not read that yet. Do you have the link to the artical?

It only says no multi-touch on 1.6 because I think its not possible on Android 1.6, just like its limited to 65k colour screen.

It may still get multi-touch with Android 2.x, as its 65k colour limit will be boosted to 16m.

That article doesn't confirm nor deny any feature upgrades.

The one thing I do really like is the web browsing :)

I don't think it requires multi-touch with that browser UI. 1 button to view the whole page and the view area represented by a box you can drag around :)

Just as quick as using an iPhone with multi-touch. TBH i'll be surprised if after a while your not quicker with the x10 UI.

I'm sure I'm missing something here... Android 1.5 has multitouch for the applications that support it, like Dolphin.

The great thing about android is that if you get the X10 and want sense, you will probably be able to do it. Buy the N1 or the Desire and want SE's android skin? XDA will probably do that for you too!

I believe that’s been implemented over the top of Android by the HTC sense, natively Android 1.5 & 1.6 doesn’t support multi touch.

Buy both, return one after 7 days :D

I'm 100% sold on the X10 now, i just think the Desire however good it may be looks a bit "cheap" :)

It does look better and from what i've read, feels very expensive. Can't tell untill you hold it i guess.

X10 looks nice to, but a bit too brick like! I'd like more curves! I'm tempted to order Desire and see how i get on with that first. Or wait for some user reviews on both.

In the same boat camalot. Having had my Omnia, worst phone ever, I want a new phone I can be happy with for at least 2 years.

The more i see timescape the less impressive it looks. It just looks bland and boring to me now.

I really don't think it is all that.
