Actual development:
We have a dev. bootloader (won't share the file sorry) and are trying to figure out how it can be flashed, because X10flash doesn't recognize bootloaders.
According to biktor we have to figure out if X10flash, USBflash.dll, the secondstage loader (Loader.sin) or the phone itself doesn't know how to handle a bootloader.
If we find a way to flash this bootlaoder we can flash unsigned images.
So, who wanna help. Just try to figure out which device handles the flashing of bootloaders or if it's possible at all).
Analyze of loader.sin (arm binary) USBFlash.dll (Windows dynamic link library) must be done to find some indications on bootloader files.

yea, i set it in Timescape - Facebook options for once per hour. Is that the setting you mean?
I tried hitting refresh in timescape but no joy, google seems to be bringing up other people with similar problems
Ah well no Facebook for me!(atleast not on Timescape). The rest of the phone is working nicely
Have you linked the contact to the relevant face book acct ? cant remember if this was done automatically or i had to do it manually when i set mine up .
just pull up the contact and hit "edit" then scroll down to near the bottom and hit "link" .
What do you think my chances are of me managing to get O2 to send my an unbranded handset?
Do you think if I were to phone O2 and get a manager on the line that there will be a chance of me negotiating for a unbranded phone, or is there just no chance at all??
seems ive got the infamous ''x10 wont charge'' after leaving it to go flat. any ideas because im all out ? wont charge at all trying various chargers (usb , blackberry). after hours of been plugged in all it manages to do is turn on and then turn itself straight back off after a ''less than 2% battery remaining'' warning

mines having trouble charging, I think the connector may be loose as sometimes it doesn't show as being on charge at all and other times it will show the charging symbol but will gain charge at a ridiculously slow rate (ie 1 hours charge going from 30-32% battery)
My USB connector broke, T-mobile said they wouldn't repair it as it was done buy excessive force (rubbish!). I complained a lot and they sent a new one. In my opinion the connector does not have enough support (they sent me pictures of the inside, showing the damage). I'm being really really careful when plugging in my new one.
what symptoms did your phone show ? was it totally not working or was it just not charging
you see even the hold back button and inserting usb works as it should with the green light ((but it doesnt charge in this mode iirc???). and when plugged in normally the phone tries to switch itself on but cant because of the low battery
left it plugged in all day just to see and it still has no chargeread some forum posts saying it could be a dodgy battery so ive ordered a new one so fingers crossed it works!
Good news!
Added more people to my Facebook and weirdly its started updating on my phone, maybe i was just being impatient! lol
On another note...
Anyone know of an app that monitors connectivity? So i know whats currently connecting to the internet, with history and time connected etc...
Or am i asking too much from an app? lol
Excellent. I've been trying to recreate that on my handset without any joy
3G Watchdog is worth a look.![]()
I also found an app called JuiceDefender, seems to get some hype for saving battery power.
why not just use the warranty?
so now here again the summary info from the conversation this afternoon.
the previously rumored known and confirmed R2B update was pulped and does not come. exactly why he could not tell me because of his visible ago everything was OK. However, it is again revised and improved but was graded with a very high security at the middle of June. so it should soon come to the validation and maximum of 3 to 4 weeks available on SEUS be .....
definitely confirm it was me that there the battery problem is resolved. There are also preserving stability and strong performance improvements. I also have the error with the cards in the VZ Timescape again mentioned that the infinite symbol disappears after contact link and some other little things ..... nochn
we only need a little patience and then the problem should also be history
You may not agree with Sony Ericsson's time table, nor their decision on what flavor of Android to use, but let's face it: you were intrigued when SE told you the Xperia X10 would be its first Google-fied smartphone. To date, the X10 has yet to gain the kind of global appreciation shared by the Motorola Droid, Nexus One or iPhone, but that's not to say quite a few of you haven't ended up with one. We had our fair share of gripes and grins when reviewing the thing, but as you well know, this is no place for us to rehash what we've already explained. Rather, we're curious to know how exactly you feel about the Xperia X10. In what can only be described as the most competitive smartphone landscape in the history of the world, the X10 is going up against some huge players; do you feel that the product SE has delivered is up to snuff? Would you have rather seen a different version of Android from the start? Any issues with the touch panel, camera, or industrial design? Digging those hard buttons below the display? We have to imaging that the X11 is already floating around in someone's mind, and chances are high that they'll be looking in comments for advice on where to turn. No pressure.
