Sony TV and Android

My Sony turned up yesterday and setup/usage was a breeze. Loving the Android OS coming from a 3 year Samsung.

Nice one! How long is the AC power cord?

Are you wall mounting it?

Not very long, I was really worried when I unpacked it! I'm not sure how long it is, I didn't measure it, but if the part between the AC block and the actual TV plug was 10cm shorter I'd have been struggling. I would guess that it's 100cm long from the block to the TV, and another 30cm from the block to the piug socket.

I've had no issue's with my 2015 KD55X8509c and I've had it for 11 months now.

Which model are you looking at btw ?

The 2015 Sony ones were atrocious (both in software and build quality), I had two and they both went back. The hardware Sony were using to run the OS wasn't up to the task at all either, which didn't help things, but then it was quite obvious after using one that they'd just taken the previous year's model and shoehorned Android into it rather than building them with it in mind from the start.
