I sort of regret importing the Snapdragon S20 now.

I hate it when phones are announced early and you have to wait a few months when you'll lost interest or buy something else.

For those interested, keep an eye out for o2 refresh deals. I got the xperia 1ii for £799 with some free XM3 headphones from them on release so quite a big saving.

How much was the original sim free price?

Dont refresh deals affect your credit scores?

WondaMobile have it on preoder £759 but it's the 256gb variant and UK is only 128gb.

It'll be £800. May come with goodies which you can flog off. Personally I may go for an import purely because of double the storage.

If only they priced this £700 or a little lower and released it in the next 2 weeks, it would give OnePlus 8T, S20E and base iPhone 12 some competition.

Any idea how much the headphones are worth?

Man they need to drop the price by atleast £100. The Pixel 5 will overshadow this.

Uh? The Pixel is cheaper, but with midrange specs. Buy it if you want a midrange phone. The 5 ii is flagship specs and you buy it if you want a premium product. I'm not even sure the Pixel 5 is directly competing with the Sony.

Yea it was shown that much but a lot of hype was generated way before. You barely hear about Xperia phones.

Anyone familiar with the uninstallable bloatware levels on Sony phones? Most importantly does Facebook or its services come installed and can’t be removed?

Apparently the software updates aren't good like Samsung's 3 years.

No wireless charging for £800 is a joke to be honest. If it had that I may have considered it. Never mind, anyone with any sense will wait a few months when these phones are worth a quarter of what they sold for.

Ain't wireless charging slow though? But yea price isn't good.

The price is no worse than any other flagship device. The 5G Galaxy S20 is the same price (albeit you’d be stupid to pay RRP for a Samsung) and that phone comes with awful battery life and the compromised Exynos SoC. The Sony is by far the more rounded product.

True but atleast they have wireless charging and reverse and also have 3 years software updates. Samsung have some market share as opposed to Sony.
