*** Sony Xperia Z5 ***

Sold my Z5 to someone on Gumtree, got £285 for it... Kinda wish I kept it as a spare now lol. But depreciation for phones is savage these days.

Still waiting on update on EE. Hope this makes the battery better or this is getting binned. Z3 was so much better on the battery

Am I right in saying if I flash the customised uk Rom I'd lose the EE wifi calling?

Wouldn't say it was much better batterywise. I hear in April the stamina mode is coming back (not sure in what form). I suspect the hardware is the issue...

Can you download the an EE app to -re-enable the feature? Does it need/use and app or just needs an EE SIM?

Didn't you buy it new SIM free just a couple of months ago? How much did you lose?

Should have held out for more, lots of sellers around Portsmouth and Fareham are still advertising the Z3 for £200+

Its an option in the call menu in setting, not an app. It actually works really well because its built into the os

From what i see in XDA its built into the firmware, may be why EE are taking longer.
It is handy for me as i dont have great signal in the house

They won't sell for over £200 sadly because brand new they're worth just a bit more (£267 to be exact on Amazon).

The Z5 is £400 sim free currently, so no chance I'd be getting over £300 for it, even if it is only a few months old.

It is what it is!

Been snapping away with the camera for a couple of days some of the pics are really nice others are oversharpened and over processed killing a lot of detail

as an example my Canon 5d3 has a similar pixel count but jpg's out of the Z5 come out of the camera between 2 &3 Mb
the 5d3 has files jpg's around 10-12mb

not sure why they have put so much processing into the images
a couple of the better one's out of the z5
