Sorry AMD :(

I see no problem with people asking for a part discount on something they've only owned X amount of time within the DSR period. Hell, I've done the same, and would in the future, (I'd be disappointed if I was rejected tbh) that's going to get you return custom.

I don't like people abusing DSR, and myself haven't. If I get a crap clocker, I live with it (This Sapphire R9 290 I have now is shocking, but I couldn't be fussed)

I wouldn't dream of using codes and DSR'ing either, but that's different to a product getting a discount within a DSR period.

What about monitors? With dead pixel tolerance based policies, DSR was the only thing that actually allowed people to get a flawless monitor, because otherwise they're stuck with dead pixels and they're SOL.
And monitors with backlight bleed too (That's not a classified fault unless it's ridiculous), again, DSR is the only thing that allows one to get a flawless monitor as they can't RMA.

But now that means that one could have it a day or two, notice the dead pixels/backlight bleed, and then get a reduced refund.

This TBH.

I've only ever used OCUK for any online purchases simply because the service is so good, I've spent circa 2.5k so far. They answer emails promptly, you KNOW if you have problems with a product and it's reasonable to return it they will help you. People taking the **** just ruin it for the rest of us. If you get a bad clocker so be it, you play the silicone lottery! It's not the vendors fault the card won't clock to 7000mhz.

iir ASUS have a zero dead pixel return policy for piece of mind.

The thing that annoys me is that I have to wait until I've got 1000 posts before I can enter the MM, which is claimed to keep out the shady people, and yet on the other hand there are people who buy products at full price only to then say they'll DSR that product if they don't get the discount. And these people have over a thousand posts.

Agreed.

The money I've spent on OC should entitle me to MM. If I spam the boards with drivel I'll get in sooner. How's that reasonable?
