Should be a case of turning the fan around (on the case)...

Yea but the current fan has wires that are faced down under it's support byt on the top it had no suport for wires to sit on, so when I flip it round the wires will be exposed too which I don't want...I'll see how it goes.

Yeah I haven't posted for a long time but I have recently started lurking around here again (looking for the lowdown on the upcoming gfx cards), you guys can make some really detailed analysis sometimes


The PC is doing well, barring the 10 degree temp difference in the cores which I still haven't been able to fix even after 2 re-seats of the CPU...not a big problem but it just bugs me for some reason.

Also, the weirdest thing has happened recently, in which if I play a newer game like Bioshock, after about 10 minutes of play the screen just goes black as if it has been disconnected from the gfx card or something... I cleaned the card of any dust and also checked the temps, which were around 75-80 under load...It doesn't happen with less demanding games like ET, Chessmaster, and Audiosurf.

It's an x1950pro which I was pretty happy with up until now, because it has served my needs well, given that I mainly play Wolf:ET, and it even played games like CoD4 surprisingly well, but ofcourse now I want a go at more recent games like Crysis and Grid etc, so I guess even if there is something wrong with the card it's about time for an upgrade anyway.
