Sound out of sync in Windows 7 .AVIs

WMP right? Probably why. You need to give us more info though. If you cannot be bothered messing around with codecs, just get VLC, no crap, works.

If you like codecs, get Shark007 codec package, has everything and runs all my .avi's fine.
 
Sorry, meant to add to title, it happens in both WMP and WMC.

Sound in VLC is fine, but as soon as I resize the video, it becomes blocky. So I suppose I need codecs.

WMC is just pathetic in my opinion lol. I've tried at least 5 codec packs for it and never got it working properly. Just use WMP. Yeah same reason I changed back to WMP from VLC. VLC works but it is severely lacking in quality.

Shark007 does pretty much everything, including .FLV's I think. Also there are many more media players out there, I think that GOM media player is one of the post popular, never personally tried it.
 
Is Shark007 the recommended codec pack for W7? K-lite was great in Vista, can I use it ok in W7?

I've used Shark007 codecs on windows 7 for a while now, there is dedicated codecs for windows 7 and also dedicated x64 components too.

Shark007 + Media Player Classic HC = win!
