I had it pre-loaded a few days ago and then got a notification this morning saying it had finished downloading. Excited, I thought that it has been unlocked a day early but it wasn't to be - don't know what the notification was all about.

Just had a look on the Steam boards and people were complaining about the Uplay version already being unlocked.

Mine was a Uplay key and it's not unlocked yet so that sounds like bull unless I'm just unfortunate. Although in saying that I just assumed it was a Uplay key so went straight there to redeem - I wonder can you unlock it in either of Uplay or Steam - the key codes do look like Steam ones the email I got from GMG didn't specify...

Its already unlocked for me on Steam (and purchased from Steam too). Although as soon as the game boots I just get a black screen with the music playing in the background. Cant even bring a task manager window to the fore. Seems im not the only one https://www.reddit.com/r/southpark/comments/76wncc/but_whole_lpt_got_around_the_black_screen_glitch/ and the Alt+Enter to put it in windowed mode seems to work.

Was watching DansGaming playing this yesterday. It's funny in parts but a lot of the references are lost on me as I haven't watched the show much.

I used 100 uplay points and got 20% off it on the Uplay store. Worked out as the cheapest for me.

As for the game - had a quick go this morning and there are some niggles with the controls (ie axis issues when trying to talk to characters that you have to be on the same 'level' as them to activate them.... but other than that, 4K 60fps all the way (as if it wouldn't!).

Green Man Gaming has it for £34.19. Seems to be quite a few negative reviews on Steam at the mo. Problems with DRM and black screens.

Hmmm haven't come across that. Assumed the DRM is just Uplay - unless they are using Denuvo?

** EDIT: Yep, it uses Denuvo - same as Assassin's Creed Origins
