I didnt want to over do it as I could see the my tyres being ripped off the rims and into the air.

You do have to be careful with the F1s and their sidewalls made of cheese

The video was cool, shame I didn't hang around for the evening entertainment.

I lost 1st on the way down for about a mile of city driving and then reverse whilst acting like a chav.

When I phoned them out on christmas night, one of them came over and started talking to me and thanked me.

LOL, I love the gearbox in my car Proper easy to slip in gear when ragging it!

The only times I have problems with first gear, is when I can't be bothered pushing the clutch right in. I'm so short I can't fully press the pedal

So far, known jobs are...

New brake pads + discs
Sump, cam cover and exhaust gaskets
Camshaft oil seals
Fix power steering leak
Get it through the MOT first time

It's new wheels and tyres time next month too... nothing too exciting. Just Rover Turbo 6 spoke rims with brand new Eagle F1's. Then after that it's suspension (50mm drop ) and then my 282mm brake conversion.

I'm determined that she WILL make it to the camping meet!

The gear box on my mk3 is horrible, it's easier changing gear in the Formula Ford which has no syncro-mesh

New brake pads + discs = £0
Sump, cam cover and exhaust gaskets = £30 for the all the gaskets
Camshaft oil seals = £4 each, I need 2
Fix power steering leak = Hopefully nothing... got to find some jubilee clips though
Get it through the MOT first time = A miracle

Had both wheels off today to inspect the CV gaiters and they look in great condition, so that's one less thing to worry about.

Even if I did want to get a new car, I just couldn't justify selling the Rover.

Not after having spent £400 in the past month... I'd get nothing back!
