I have acuumulqted 3 points that have been endorsed on my license. 83 in a 60 yes I know

Do I tell my inaurer now or on renewal?

Also how long do they stay on my license for?

technically you should tell them straight away but most people dont until renewal time

Never had the points pre taking out the premuim. But I know any changes can i cur extra....

Generally 3 points you should be fine, but I'd still ring up and inform them. Wouldn't want to be in a situation to need to use your insurance to be told it's null and void. Depends on how long you've got until renewal, however.

No they won't.

Similarly if you have a claim, the price doesn't change until renewal.

I'd tell them. If it was only a month or so I probably wouldn't bother but half a year is a bit different.

check the fine print on your policy to see if they make mention of it. They may state specifically they don't need to be notified until renewal.

If you can find no mention of it, it will likely come under the general heading of changes to your conditions which will almost guaranteed say they need to be notified now.

I informed my insurance company after my licence was endorsed. No increase in premium for that term and didn't seem to affect my renewal quote either (it was cheaper than the year before).

It would also be illegal to invalidate the insurance too, although some additional benefits may be forfeited.

Not for most companies but the Admiral group of companies do ask if you've attended one and so, presumably, will load the premium.
